Carson Square is a neighborhood located south of the University of Indianapolis and east of University Heights. The neighborhood is largely white (87 percent in 2019) and the median household income is average compared to Marion County. About half of the housing stock in Carson Square was developed in the 1950s and 1960s. One-third of the neighborhood was developed in the 1990s and 2000s, especially the southeast portion of the neighborhood near Interstate 65.
