Bierman Neighborhood Group is a neighborhood organization bounded by Raymond Street and Southeastern Avenue to the north, Troy Avenue and Connection Avenue to the south, Arlington Avenue to the east, and Emerson Avenue to the west. This organization was registered in 1994.

Housing stock is mixed in the neighborhood, but about half of homes were built in the 1950s and 1960s. Much of the area is still undeveloped or remains farmland. The railroad tracks on the southern border of the neighborhood have attracted major industries. The line was formerly the Cleveland, Cincinatti, Chicago and St. Louis railroad. It is now a CSX line. Nearby industries include Shelby Materials, ADM Milling, and Americold Logistics.
