Marion County Election Board is responsible for overseeing the administration of elections in Marion County. The election board consists of three members: the
and one representative each from the county Republican and Democratic parties, who serve at the pleasure of their respective county chairs. The election board maintains office space in the City-County Building and has a full-time and part-time staff of employees. During election periods the board adds additional temporary workers. The board’s operations are financed from the Marion County general fund through the ordinary budget process.Revised July 2021
